Cinnamon Sugar Doughnuts
These Doughnuts are Light and Fluffy
The recipe is super easy, and only makes eight doughnuts so is great for a a smaller group!
Roll out the doughnut dough to 1/2 " in thickness on a lightly floured surface.
Cut out the Doughnuts using two circle cutters or a doughnut cutter. You can make them any size you like.
Place each doughnut cut-out onto a piece of parchment paper - this makes frying easy!
Leave the Doughnuts to rise in a warm spot until they have puffed up.
Fry the doughnuts in hot oil for 2-3 minutes, or until golden. Remove from the oil and drain.
Toss each doughnut into the cinnamon sugar mixture and place on a wire rack.
