Description

My easy Salted Maple Butter will take your breakfasts to the next level! Perfect on waffles, pancakes, or anything else that needs a touch of sweetness, this maple butter comes together in an instant and can be stored in the fridge for weeks!

Ingredients

Scale
  • 230g butter, salted or unsalted, at room temperature (I like salted)
  • 160g good quality maple syrup
  • Salt to taste (I use a big pinch of flaky sea salt)

Instructions

  1. Place all ingredients into a medium bowl. Whip together with a spoon or a spatula, or use an electric hand mixer. It may seem as if the butter is curdled - just keep mixing.
  2. Taste and add more salt if needed.
  3. Store in an airtight container in the fridge or spread onto a piece of plastic wrap and roll up in to a sausage and twist at both ends.
  4. Store in the fridge for up to 3 weeks or freeze for a few months.
