Description

Keeping frozen cookie dough on hand is a great way to have fresh chocolate chip cookies whenever you like. This guide teaches you how to freeze cookie dough and how to bake from frozen!

Ingredients

One batch of cookie dough of your choice

Instructions

TO FREEZE COOKIE DOUGH

  1. Make the dough per the recipe. Scoop the dough as directed - if the recipe includes a chill time, complete this first in the fridge before freezing your dough. For cookies with a sugar coating, I usually do not roll in sugar until just before I bake.
  2. Placed rolled cookie dough onto a parchment paper lined sheet pan, and freeze for an hour until solid.
  3. Transfer to a ziploc bag or airtight container and label.
  4. Store in the fridge until ready to bake.
