Description

My Honey Butter recipe comes together in an instant and is good on everything from toast to bread rolls. I make mine with softened butter, honey, and a good amount of salt. Like it spicy? Hot Honey butter is life changing.

Ingredients

Scale
  • 230g butter, salted or unsalted, at room temperature (I like salted)
  • 115 honey of your choice - either plain or hot honey if you want a spicy version
  • Salt to taste (I use a big pinch of flaky sea salt)

Instructions

  1. Place all ingredients in a medium bowl. Whip together with a spoon or spatula, or use an electric hand mixer. Taste and adjust salt if needed.
  2. Store in an airtight container in the fridge or spread onto a piece of plastic wrap and roll up into a sausage and twist at both ends.
  3. Store in the fridge for up to 3 weeks or freeze for a few months.
